Hooray!!!! I love happy test scores, if test scores can truly be happy. So, are you looking at two years of college for the A.A/A.S. or are you thinking about doing the long haul for a B.A. or B.S.? This, in my opinion, is the first question you should ask yourself. Especially considering that if you decide to do the B.A./B.S. you can still get the A.A./A.S, but you'll be prepared with the right transfer credits/classes to continue on. Otherwise you might end up in a program that creates a degree that will basically cause more work when you transfer. Number two - don't let anybody push you down a path. There's a set of requirements for the state of Oregon that you'll have to take no matter where and they're a great way to take some time and classes and figure out what you're interested without taking specialized classes that will become elective credits should you change majors down the road. Congratulations Wendi - damn! I don't know you, but I'm so happy for you! It's really great to see people taking the plunge and going after something they really want.

Thank you Celina. I do plan on going for four years for my BA/BS degree, seems like you need at least that for the good jobs now-a-days. And I agree that starting off with the basics first will allow me the time to figure out what I want to do.

Hey Wendi -

Congrats on the test results. . .that's great news!

Celina brings up some great points. . .I'll just add a little more.

You can pursue drama, music etc. Match it with a business degree (or minor) and you're marketable. There are always behind-the-scenes type of work to be done in plays, music etc.

Plus, don't forget that you have experience in the workforce already. . .that's worth more than any degree when you go out looking for a job.

To find out what you should major in, I'd suggest talking with different people in careers that you'd like to pursue and find out what type of education/experience they needed. That's where your major will be.

Just my 2-bits!

Congrats again!
