I have to thank Lillith for this link. It’s a commentary on an article about woman having a chip on their shoulders. Now before you roll your eyes and groan, this commentary is probably the most honest view of how normal women view the responsibilites that make up their life. We are not feminists, we are not home-bodies, we are the women who do a hundred and one things for everyone and we do these things willingly. However, the ball and chain (grin) of responsibilities that we have chosen to take on comes with unexpected consequences.

I completely agree with Kate on this one and she so simply states what all of us, I think, feel on a daily basis. We all react differently to it, in my case I completely ignore my housework. But her commentary so resonated with me, that I had to link to it. She’s closed her comments to her entry but feel free to leave a comment here.
