busy busy busy
I love Christmas. I love Christmas. I love Christmas. Maybe if I say it enough times I’ll actually believe it. 
Being a mom, PTA vice-president, mobile Dj and a friend all collided this weekend, with very little sleep for me. Between friday and saturday I helped out at a fund-raiser at Barnes and Noble for our school, did a company christmas party in another town 1 1/2 hrs. away , went to a practice chess tournament, sowed ears and a tail for a cat costume for a play, did a wedding reception and rescued a friend who was stranded in Vancouver (I’m in portland) at 4 in the morning.
That doesn’t include my sunday responsiblities. To say the least, I was busy little girl. But I did have fun, my kids stomped at the practice chess games, the costume did work ( I have very limited sowing capabilites,) and my friend got home safely with car intact. So despite how tired I feel at the moment, OK, exausted is more like it, it was a good weekend.
My choir at chruch which I am conducting is learning their music well and our program is coming together. I have twice as many ppl in my choir as I was expecting and they seem to like me as their conductor. Our program is going to be on the 22nd and I’m nervous and exited. I’m a little jealous because I would rather be singing then conducting, but I’m thankful that they gave me this responsibility. I have alot to learn.
So that is my weekend update, I’m going to add my joke tonight cause I will be dead asleep on monday.
