GED RESULTS
Ok, in the mail today I recieved my offical transcript of my GED results. I promised to give you all the numbers so here we go.
Language Arts/Reading: score 800/ 99%
Language Arts/Writing: score 760/ 99%
Mathamatics: score 710/ 98%
Science: score 700/ 98%
Social Studies: score 670/ 96%
Average of all scores: 728
You need a score of 450 to pass and a 800 is perfect. A 728 I think counts as a B in an actual grade average. The top score you can get on a test is 800, notice that they don’t give you a 100%. I’ll have to go see if I can get the score on my essay, because they just give your final score here. But I figure I must have gotton at least a 3.5 to get such a good score on the test.
Here’s the wrap up of their comments:

-Communication
-Information Processing
-Problem Solving
-Higher order thinking skills
In the five test areas (reading, writing, math, science, and social studies) to perform as effectiviely in the workplace or in higher education as the top 1% of traditional high school graduates.
The results then give a summery of each test and what skills you showed profecency at. O.k. there we go, all the scores. I’ve proven at least on a test that I’m not stupid. I may feel stupid, but supposedly I’m not actually stupid.
I think the jury is still out to lunch.

sheesh you did better than i did in most of my high school years and yet they still let me graduate. heh. good for you!

Same here. I was a solid C student for four straight years, failed two classes, and they let me graduate, too. I’d be very proud of those scores!

Congratulations!! Those are awesome results! Perfect on a standardized test is VERY hard to achieve (although I have to laugh with you at the 800 only equaling 99%!).

Congratulations on your test results, I’m sitting her and waiting for mine, I should be getting them from anywhere within the next couple days to the next 2 or 3 weeks.
I hope that I did anywhere near as well as you did.
