Oooooooooh, is that a Duck I see in the sky?
PAST: Everybody loves signs and portents and mystery. (It’s also axiomatic that “everybody generalizes.” Or is that oxymoronic? Anyway. Let’s move along, then.) A fair number of us like to define other people based on what sign they were born under. So hey baby, what’s your sign?
I’m a Cancer, born in the year of the Buffalo, or Ox depending on who printed your chinese calander. This apparently is behind my self-defense mechanism and the fact that I’m intensely protective of my family.
PRESENT: What do you think about this Mars thing, eh? Is it cool or what?
I love astronomy. I think it’s so cool to see Mars shine so bright in the sky. It always amazes me to know that we have big, huge planets around us in the sky. All ordered and in balance with each other, respectively. Way cool.
FUTURE: You’re on the committee to officially put some new mythical creatures into the Zodiac. (Those old ones were getting boring, wouldn’t you say?) Give us a taste of what Zodiac II will include. C’mon, cut loose.
I helped come up with this question and you’d think I’d be prepared for this one. So here we go:
The Dragon. Strong, Independant, Wise but completely aware of his connection to the world around him. Able to understand the “why” of the universe and strive to be the best he can be within that universe. They have the ablility to enjoy the beauty around them and treasure what is close to their hearts. Fiercely loyal to loved ones and tolerant of those who seem to not understand what is so clear to him. The challenge of Life is the joy and purpose of existance and he rises to the challenge each day, sometimes cautious but never afraid to face the challenges that come around each mountain.
