First Day of School-part one

Actually, this entry is going to be talking about the day before school. I’ve titled it my “Hurt Wendi As Much as Possible Day”. Emotionally I was fine, physically I wasn’t.
List of everything that I did to myself: Splinter under nail(which I couldn’t remove until just removed a moment ago), Toes smashed by handtruck with 6 12packs of pop, pulled muscle which agravated my hip, so I’m limping, Ate nothing all day because I never got to stop for food, Step off curb and wrench knee…and I’m sure I missed something…..oh yeah, serve food to an entire school at a open house in the sun of which I still didn’t eat.

That was the bad stuff, here’s the good stuff that happened around the injuries. I got to go do a session at the Temple, then I took Karel some lunch, Then took kids to a playdate, then went to the storage unit where the Dj equipment is being stored and made sure I had a working system for this weekend, since my old system is still being overhauled. Got home long enough to wash my hair because it was limp and picked up some ice at the store , got money for change at the bank, then went to the school and started setting up for the open house. As soon as we were set up, we started selling pizza, pop, and ice cream to the masses. It took just over a hour in the sun. We met with teachers and renewed aquaintances. Then it was off to home, bed and making sure all supplies were accounted for.

I’ve been able to keep this 30lbs off for the last two months, and I can’t believe all the compliments I’m getting. I guess I was really starting to pork out, but I’m still at 200lbs. I don’t really notice a difference, other then I can tie my shoes without seeing stars, I can walk up and down stairs without pain, and I can once again bend comfortably. But I don’t think I look any different. However, EVERYONE commented on it, so I guess 30 lbs, no matter how much you have left, does make a difference in your looks. *shrugs*
