I know it’s a day late but Happy Halloween. I hope everyone had a good time last night. I have to Dj a halloween party tonight so I get to party again.

We froze last night taking the kids trick or treating. It was fun though, although the cold eventually got to them. What is it about Halloween being one of the coldest days of the year for Portland? Well, not really, but when you had an 80 degree day just the saturday before and the high yesturday was around 42, it makes you wonder. Either way, the route we take for the kids involved alot of hiking up and down stairs, so the kids tire out quickly and they still get a good bucketful of candy. Unfortunately it’s only another year or so before they are going to be up to handling more then a couple of hours of candy time.

After we got back, GD went out to a party and I stayed home and chatted online. I kept thinking about my writing assignment for class and about how we need to be writing more, so I’ve decided to take the NaNo challange. Will I be able to write a novel? I have no idea. I do have a story idea that I can get lots of details from. They say write about what you know….well, I know about romance and I know about heart break, and I know about a few other things…so I’ve got my story idea. I haven’t decided if I will allow you guys to read my drivel or not. It is a romance story, but not your typical harliquin romance sex story. I’m afraid I’m to modest for that kind of writing. However, the basic idea is about a divorced Mom getting back on her feet.

Yeah, I know, quite a stretch of the imagination. (smirk)

Anyway…I’ll keep you guys updated on how I do. We’ll see how this goes.
