Who am I?
Who am I? That’s a good question. At the moment, I’m greyduck’s ball-and-chain, hence the url name. I’m the mother of two amazingly awesome children who definately know more then I do. I’m Mormon, which is up to you to decide if that’s a good thing. And I’m a mobile Dj, which I have alot of fun doing. I like to sing and my dad and I sing Karaoke when we get the chance. I babysit several neighborhood children for moms who are either single or trying to go to school so can’t pay alot, if any, for daycare. I like to read and prefer fanstasy/SF stories. I used to be into those historical romances when I was a teenager, but we all grow up.
What do I want to be when I grow up? My dream job would be either performing on stage or in movies. Yes, I love to act, but for some reason I only got into the musicals in school, seems my voice overplays whatever acting skills I may have. I did do non-musicals, but only had one real role, all the others were extra positions, which I didn’t mind. I played the teacher in “Never Saw Another Butterfly” which is a wonderful play centered on a survivor of the concentration camps of WWII. For once I got the role the usual star of our productions was wanting.
I suppose this is enough about me for today. (grin) Of course this is my journal so it’s supposed to be about me. But I can take over a conversation in real life so I’m sensitive when I do all the talking. I hate to seem pushy or a know-it-all. oh well……
