Well it’s day two of snow/ice incarceration here in good old Portland, Oregon. (heh) Stir crazy has set in, even so much so that I walked at sunset to the 7-11 just to move around. My friends in the good old NE are laughing at me and saying “6 inches? Hell, we’re at 6 feet!” Then they laugh at me. Yeah, fine, laugh at me. Join the club. *wink*

It’s not that bad. It’s dry at least, which means of course that it’s not melting, but the kids are having a ball going sledding.

We’re slated for more freezing rain over the next two days. Which means it still won’t be cold enough to melt what’s already on the ground. NOT GOOD! This stuff better be gone by saturday. I’m working and have no traction devices. I may have to hike up to the Safeway tomorrow, weather permitting. Ugh. I’m exhausted just walking the two blocks to the 7-11. Safeway is oh…..20 blocks away. Yeah, I see this happening. In either case, we’ll see what happens. Right now I’m going to curl up with my hot choco, pumpkin pie and watch some anime and chat.
