Date # 3

Last night I went on my third date with as many guys. Gentleman number 3 who we will refer to as T, found the profile I had filled out on Yahoo personals. (my AFF one is deleted, details later)

He sent me a personal message yesturday and we hit it off from the start. We decided to meet that night somewhere nuetral and see what happened.

The dated started with my van overheating, and I had to stop and let it cool down so I could put water in it. I was irritated by this as I had just filled the radiator the day before…clearly need to call the mechanic. Anyway, I finally get the van running again only to realize that by the time I get there I’m going to be 25 minutes late. I hoped he would be patient and wait for me, not thinking I stood him up. And no I don’t have a cellphone.

I show up and he’s standing there looking around. He’s about 5′10″ and wearing a jacket, jeans and baseball cap. Totally relaxed and cute. He walks up and immediately kisses me hello. It was a good kiss. We go inside only to realize we don’t want to be there, so we head to Sheri’s for food. Getting a snack platter we spend the next hour and a half just chatting away. It’s companionable and easy, and we talked about his divorce and my impending one, he figures out real fast that my main sadness in life comes from the fact that I haven’t forgiven myself for not seeing the clues in my divorce for what they were. For allowing behavior that hurt me ultimatly. I do feel like a complete idiot, and we had a good talk about that.

Afterwards we decide to watch a video at his place, I pick a comedy so things stay light adn easy and we settle in to watch “Clerks”. Interesting movie is all I have to say. He sits next to me and starts messing with my shoes, after taking them off he proceeds to give me a foot rub.

Now guys…big clue…rubbing a girls feet earns you major brownie points. I love massages. I never can get enough of them. Having my feet rubs and my scalp massaged with my hair being gently pulled is the absolute best, and T was great at it.

So we watch the movie and I am showered with massages and friendly but increasingly passionate kisses throughout the evening. Afterwards I drove home and went to bed.

It was so nice not to have to worry about being mawled. He worked hard to help me relax and not worry about my own personal sadness. Just to enjoy my time with him. Just him, just me, it was fun, relaxing, and probably the best first date I have ever been on. He kept telling me how adorable he thought I was. Which is nice to hear, and I guess adorable is sexy to him cause he never stoped touching me the entire night. There was always contact of some kind. I definately didn’t feel like a blow up doll…chuckle. In fact, he behaved himself very well. Oh it was nice to feel wanted and cherished…which is unusual to have when you first meet someone, but it was still there.

Overall. A very good first date.
