Valentines and My Son’s Accomplishments

Let’s see, what to talk about…hmmmm…..

Saturday: Valentine’s Day. A day I had been looking forward to and dreading. One) I was going to Dj a dance for my church and I was excited about that. Two) first valentines without hubby and wondering what would happen.

I woke up to find several valentine ecards on my computer. My friends let me know how much they cared. I sent out an ecard to all my buds in chat, but for some goofy reason only some of them got delivered and some didn’t. I have no clue how or why, so for those of you who didn’t get them and were told I sent you one, know how much your freindship meant to me. HUGS.

The dance went fantastic. They only thought they’d get maybe 80 people. They planned food for 150. They got at least 150 people. Shocked them big time. And everyone agreed that it was because they had a live Dj.

They had origionally asked me if I would just help them put a tape together or something for htem to use….I was agast at the idea. So I told them how that could and probably would backfire…and so they hired me. I did the event for no pay so that their cost would be lower. And my boss was great in allowing me to do it. He could have said no.

We did alot of line dances and group things. It was alot of fun, and I was so glad to see so many of my friends from church having a good time. It was a very good night.

Now for some bragging…

My son has been playing with a computer animation program called blender. Greyduck has posted some of his creations on his site. So here’s a link to show what my genius of a son is accomplishing. Check out “Gus gets hit” it’s my favorite.
