An awesome compliment
For the most part, life has been very boring this last week. Easter went well even though my choir was partly sick. But those who were able to sing gave a balanced sound and did a great job.
Dead Marlowe has been on vacation with his daughters and so I haven’t been in any contact with him at all. I guess I should finally clue everyone in on what my family already knows. For the last four months DM has been one of my support buds. About a month ago things became more serious between him and I. However, he’s a chat friend who lives in England, so things will be interesting. However, it’s been great to have someone I can talk religion, kids, life, stuff, nonsense and everything in between with. He is one of my best friends and I love him dearly. I haven’t wanted to say anything though, cause I just haven’t wanted to jinx anything. And you know how it goes when you put your wants down in writing.
The kids are doing fantastic. They are both taking on the responsiblities I give them without complaint. Stepping into the roles of responsible helpers that I have placed upon them. My son is developing a real desire and love of helping others. And my daughter no longer has issues with doing her homework. She just does it. I love that she comes and gets into bed with me each morning. I LOVE that. And I like that the kids are starting to really fill into the independance I have given them with their own rooms. So far, they are doing really well.
And today I was given an awesome smile. A friend of mine sent me this really awesome compliment: “I just wanted you to know that I think you’re astounding. Your honesty and bravery reveals a powerful core to you. You’re a healing influence to everyone you contact. You impress me very much, and that’s not easy.”
As you guys may know, I don’t like putting up stuff that sounds like gross bragging. Because for every person who loves you there’s someone who can’t stand you. But I really needed to hear this today, so I’ve put it here so that I can remember it. Thank You to NC for this great compliment. HUGS!
