The Mouth Speaks

It’s been nearly a month since I last spoke in this forum. I can’t give you a real reason why I find it hard to talk here. Maybe it has to do with not wanting to feel weird or have my ideas rejected. Who know’s. Either way, here’s a recap of what the past month has been.

My choir which I conduct at chruch had it’s second performance last week and did rather well even though our piano player wasn’t able to be there cause of complications due to a recent birth for his wife.

I have discovered that right now I am bringing in the most referrals as a mobile Dj from locations that I know like working with me. So that means I get to pick and choose my events cause I’m the top Dj at the moment. It’s a strange experience because I’m used to being the person who get’s assigned last because I’m the one who they can put anywhere. Some of our Dj’s are prickly ppl, only working event types they like. These bookings have been great cause that means I am working every weekend right now, Jan. through April have been dry months for me, maybe 3 or 4 events. Right now, I’m booked through most of the next three months.

My children are doing great. Alex is playing Dr. Doolittle in a school play, and both Erica and Alex are taking part in a regional chess tournament. They had a local match with three other schools a couple of weeks ago, out of two games, Erica won both and Alex was one loss and one win. So they are doing very well.

To find out how the hubby is doing all you have to is check his website, www.greyduck.net

Other then some really interesting religious conversations I’ve had which are probably only interesting to me, that’s a brief description of the last month.

I catch myself getting ready to type something on my journal page and then backing it all back out because I’m not sure if the whole internet needs a posting about the crazy thoughts in my head. Make your posts, make them boldly, make them count – as for religious conversations. I’m totally addicted to those. I think I’m going through another phase of questioning. It’s also nice to hear the other side of duckies life.

Thanks Celina. Also questioning what you put your faith into is a good thing. Our beliefs should be able to stand up to a life time of questions.

Nice to see you’re posting again! Don’t worry about what someone might think of what you write, just write for yourself.
