Where are we now?
Okay, so here’s where we’re at on this fine tuesday afternoon.
I spent monday getting the starter replaced. And it wasn’t pretty. Those stupid things are expensive. Fortunately the towing wasn’t. I currantly don’t have AAA as when my renewal came up I was moving. Couldn’t pay for both. However, it did wipe out the money I was going to use to fix my water pump issues. Fortunately for me, a member of my choir turns out to be a retired mechanic. He said he’d be more then happy to replace my water pump and hoses if I buy the parts. I’m like, YEAH!!!
Greyduck is being wonderful as well and helping to pay for some of this costly repair and hopefully between the two of us, I can still take the kids camping this weekend.
So now my van is over at my friend’s house so he can fix it. Hopefully he can get it done in time for Tumalo. *crosses fingers*
