Jon Stewart is great!
When I first started watching The Daily Show, I had a big problem with it. I couldn’t get past the sarcasm, or the language, or the shocking subjects.
Then Jon took over, and with it he brought a sensitivity to the ridiculousness of the news that I think Craig missed out on. Or at least I was able to appreciate the show better, connect with it better. In any case, I started watching it consistantly. I love Jon’s humor, the way he makes fun of himself. It’s great.
And on that note, I give you a link to a commencement speech he gave at his old college. Funny as all get out and litered with the common sense that pervades his humor that I like so much. Thanks to Greyduck for this little gem.
