Peace and Quiet
I’m enjoying this week. No kids, no babysitting kids, very few distractions unless I invite them. I like this…alot. I love my kids don’t get me wrong. But this vacation was definately the right idea.
I do have to get moving here in the next day or so…I have a PTA event that needs planning that happens in two weeks. It’s the open house the day before school starts. We already know what will happen at that event. I just have to make sure it happens.
DM contacted me on Monday…and yesturday. Seems he’s back. Told him that he couldn’t abuse friendship and that if he wants it, he has to earn it again. Told him about BG and he seemed genuinely happy for me. Of course over email, you don’t get to see a person’s face or hear the nuances of their voice. Although, I do pretty good reading the “voice” that comes through typing.
My blog list is growing. I’ve found two blogs that I really enjoy, Tell it in Love and PoMoMusings. Both are written by youth pastors of another christian denomination, and I have enjoyed reading them alot. They talk about a variety of things and both have a good written “voice” that is enjoyable to read.
