Voting surprises the night before.
So I’m going through my voters pamplet so I can get to know the minor representatives of my own county and such. I’ve got all my measures and bigwigs voted for, but now I’m actually paying attention to districts and such. So, I’m going through my guide and look at State Senator, District 21. I notice three names. A Democrat, a Libertarian and a Constitutionalist. I didn’t really read those names closely until I opened my voters pamplet to the correct page and sat there staring at a very familiar face as the Libertarian representative.
I just about fell through the floor. It was an old friend of my exhusband. A *itch of the first order named Darklady. Now some may have come in contact with this woman through various activities in Portland, or if you read certain exotic entertainment guides in the past, or even are into the polyamory scene here in in the beautiful Rose City. If you have been lucky enough not to come into contact with this woman, thank god, any god, I’m not real picky. I’m not going to do much more mudslinging other then to say that this woman participated in encourageing my ex in his various activities outside the home. I watched her selfishly manipulate those around her and then snear her little nose at me, as if I was some uneducated child about the real world. What she did to one of her exhusbands, who is a shy man who is good friends with my ex, finally woke up my ex to her true colors.
It galls me to think that she is trying to run as an honest person. She is anything but…and I sit here in shock, to find her trying to represent MY district. I feel sorry for the Libertarian ticket if this is the best they can come up with.
Gee, can you tell I don’t like this woman? And for good reasons. I feel so sorry for the poor souls trapped in her web.
(Goes back to shaking her head in disbelief)

I don’t know who it is, but I doubt she’ll win. She sounds like a “fringe” candidate to me!

Darklady does NOT represent the poly community in Portland; she just thinks she does. I know a great many polyamorous people who won’t have anything to do with her, myself included. And her appearance in the voter’s guide was just ludicrous.

I know she doesn’t. I’m more then aware of her overweaning delusion of self-importance.
