Pregnancy Appetite

I’m feeling much better then I was a few days ago. Whatever was making my stomach unhappy seems to have gone away. However, I have a new problem.

An ironic one, I think.

So what does a pregnant girl do who needs to eat every few hours or her body will get very unhappy. If I don’t eat, my stomach growls like it’s a lion and punishes me with nausea. However, I’m sick and tired of just eating and sleeping. That’s all I do. I’m tired of eating. My stomach growls and the tadpole demands nurishment and I walk into my kitchen and the sight of food leaves me with no appetite. I have a very conflicted body today. *Chuckles*

I have to eat…but I, personally, am tired of eating.

*yes, please laugh, I need to know this is funny and not just pathetic.* (wink)

I’m not pregnant, but I would like to just eat and sleep.

Or else I’d like to get tired of eating.

Try to find something that appeals to you, and keep your cupboards well-stocked with it. My first pregnancy, for some odd reason, I ate a lot of chef salads. I just couldn’t get enough lettuce, tomato, meat, and cheese in one bowl, swimming in ranch dressing. During my second pregnancy, it was bagels & cream cheese. I must have eaten 2 or 3 bagels a day for months on end. (Of course, I gained 45-50 pounds each pregnancy, so maybe this isn’t such great advice.)

I have found chef’s salads to be nearly perfect. BLT salads are great too. I just wish this child would settle on something and not change it’s mind every few days.

I feel your pain. I am 13 weeks pregnant and I feel the same way. I have to eat every 2 hours day and night. I am so sick of eating and nothing appeals to me. I thought I was the only one that felt this way. :)

DONT WORRY! You will soon have a craving for food of all kinds. I am 5 months pregnant and went through the same thing. It was to the point that I could go all day without eating. My appetite is better now and im able to keep things down. I dont know how far along you are but the nausea usually dies down around the 17th week or so. Maybe a little sooner. It will get better..
