Just what was needed…
My day has not been going so well. I’m a little irritated with some people so I decide to see if I can find any of my friends online in the game I play. So I start playing TSO, (the sims online) which lately has been boring since my friends in the city I prefer playing in are leaving to go to different cities, and I’m feeling all sorry for myself because none of the other people I know are on, when my day got a bit brighter. I’m sitting in my TSO house making money on a job object when I get a new visitor. This is nothing new, but since I do not have an active house with lots of visitors most newbie’s leave rather quickly. However, this newbie didn’t leave right away. When I asked him if I could do anything for him, he just replies “Wait a minute.” My curiosity has been hooked. He goes over to my costume chests and changes into clothes that match what I’m wearing, and proceeds to make a friend of my sim. The Sims give each other balloons, it’s very cute. He then starts talking to me about inconsequential things all the while he’s kissing my sim, dancing with my sim and just sweeping her off her feet. Feeling all bemused by this whirlwind guest of mine, he proceeds to thank me for being sweet, gives me all his sim’s money, and disappears. Now for someone who has been feeling lonely all day, this was just the bright spot of impossible romance to brighten a girls day. It was a really nice touch to a really rotten day so far, and it doesn’t look like the rest of it is getting any better. So thank you, visitor, for bringing a bit of bemusement to my day, and making me feel not quite as unwanted.

Kissing on you and giving you money?! Oh. My. What an interesting game! And considering the skill builder that Karel mentioned on his blog a while back, I think I’m rather frightened. *grin*
