Today my daughter turned 13. She is an amazing kid. She has been through so much and is showing a fighting spirit to get herself back up to where she used to be. She’s a little sadder, a lot wiser and I’m so proud she’s my daughter.

It boggles the mind that I have children at the age she and her brother are at. But a mom could not ask for better children.
