So this morning I had to call the collections dept at work to verify a payment they took out of an acct. I went to call them, and having dialed the number many times wasn’t paying attention exactly to my key strokes… I then hear…”You have reached the triple X hard porn phone…” I immediately hit the release button and started going “oh my gosh, oh my gosh”…Absolutely mortified at what I”d heard. My coworkers at that particular hour are seasoned veterans of the phone lines and asked me what was wrong and as soon as I said I tried calling the collections dept they started laughing. Someone forgot to inform me that our collections dept is only two numbers different from this other number and if you transpose them, whamo… you get the wroooong dept. LOL!!

All I can say, is good thing I was warm transfering this person instead of just sending them over cold… LOL!!
