What is a name anyway?
I was surfing the net today and decided to see what I would find if I used my name Wendi as the search word. I wanted to see how easy this website is to find. Either using “ball and chain” or “wendi” as search words. I’ll do another post on the hilarity that was the ball and chain search, but for now we will mention the other women in this world who happen to spell Wendy with an i.
For starters you find a gaggle of actresses. I found this amusing since performing is something I love to do. Lots of these women were artists, writers, musicians. We have some business women, a hypnotherapist,a female wrestler, and we even have some poor porn star who apparently directed a movie which was titled “Grand Theft Anal”. I’m real sure I don’t need to see this movie to know what it’s about. I found out that someone has an advice column called Ask Wendi. And there is Wendi.com which belongs to the hypnotherapist, I even found someone who I think qualifies as a Madame of some kind, or just wants to be.
There were several of the authors who seemed to have some interesting material out there to read. I saw alot of arts and crafty stuff that I could never be good at.
But I’m going to highlight the two I’ve found so far that I liked the most. One was a site called Ummamum’s World which is a site a hubby made for his wife about his nickname for her. It’s really cute and worth checking out. And then I found this Otaku site which had the lovely little picture you see on the side of my page which is an anime character who has my name. I don’t know if this is a real character from any actual anime or manga, but I liked this picture. The picture itself is linked to the site if you want to look up more anime art.
So if you haven’t already wasted a day searching your name under google, go have some fun at it. Now I’m going to use my full name of Wendilynn and see what comes up.
