160 years ago, Mormons fled Nauvoo, Illinois to save their lives. The Govenor of Illinois had literally signed an extermination order against the Mormons and condoned the murder of Joseph Smith. April 7th, the state of Illinois will apologize. Symbolic to be sure…but still, much appreciated.
