Amusing work story

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

One of the interesting things about working the graveyard shift for a bank is that you get very interesting people calling. Most calls during the day are people just wanting information as quickly as possible and then they are gone. But at night, you get the people who can’t sleep, or who have been [...]

April or March… what month again?

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

A new month begins and I was informed rather pointedly that I needed to update my blog. I have a new reader who thinks I should be updating this more. As it so happens, its been a very busy month. To start with, I signed a short term contract that gave me the Dj [...]

A real contest

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

I have to admit to being thrilled that neither Democratic or Republican party has a front runner. Why? Because we get to see what I consider real candidate campaigning in action.

Faith in America and Mitt Romney’s speech

Monday, December 10th, 2007

I’ve pondered over Mitt’s speech on thursday and have watched with disbelief and amusement over many of the knee-jerk commentaries by very biased journalists. Only a few seemed to hear what Mitt was trying to say and most jumped on the “mitt’s really a fanatical evangelical in hiding” wagon.
I wondered if they heard the [...]

A Happy Moment

What a happy moment.
